We are now 10 weeks into our 2017 program! Here’s what we did last week:
Tuesday we had family lunch catered by Chick-fil-a! In the afternoon we had a George Reemus Bourbon tasting at Japp’s. Named after the infamous Cincinnati “King of the Bootleggers,” George Remus is made at MGP’s historic, 170-year-old distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana!
Wednesday Soapy Soap worked with their creative agency Brand Image on packaging for their soaps!
Thursday we practiced our pitches and John Cascarano, founder of Tame the Beast shared tips and strategies for creating Facebook Ads.
Friday we had more pitch practice and Matt Lenahan CEO of DataRole came into speak for Founder Friday! Matt was able to give our cohort his alumni perspective of some of the lessons he learned while going through the Brandery program and what to focus on after Demo Day. He also discussed the process of raising money, gave tips on growth hacking and about his experience on the show Survivor. He expressed how being on the show has translated into the growing of his own company!
Saturday FC Cincinnati’s Jeff Berding invited the Brandery family to watch the game against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds! We had such a blast and are so grateful for opportunities like these!
