J.B. Kropp is recognized as a leader in interactive marketing and consumer generated media. Prior to joining Twitter in Strategic Partnerships, J.B. was an executive with Vitrue, a social media management company used by some of the top brands today. In addition, J.B. was with ShareThis, the company known for the social-sharing tool that now reaches more than 400 million users across 500,000 sites on the web. During his more than two years at ShareThis, J.B. led the product strategy and distribution efforts helping pave the wave for the company’s notable growth and success. In addition, J.B. was a co-founder of one of the first online video sharing communities, Sharkle.com, which was acquired by Vitrue. J.B. was a founding member of Flycast Network, Web Visible, Cucina.com, SmartyTags.com and an online video sports recruiting company, Go Big Recruiting. A native Cincinnatian, J.B. spends much of his free time helping to promote and assist local start-up businesses. J.B. started Queen City Ventures, which aims at helping entrepreneurs incubate their ideas.
